Coach Walker’s abundance of experience working with a variety of students gives him a unique opportunity to integrate several areas of focus, all within the same program. He has extensive experience working with students with ADHD, dyslexia, EF challenges, and on the autism spectrum. His dynamic approach will allow his mentees to receive guidance in any combination that is customized for their benefit. He enjoys working with parents as much as he does the kids, as he values the concept of “team” to provide effective guidance to the mentees. Coach Walker introduces an innovative and holistic approach to success – his ultimate goal is to normalize mentoring and this crucial additional layer of support!
One on one coaching/mentoring sessions with Lauren Raimbeault are available for girls (8 years old to 21 years old) through T.E.A.M.S. Lauren proudly graduated from New Way Academy in Phoenix, AZ in 2015. From there, she went on to attend Arizona State and Boston University. Through her life experiences in her early twenties, she has learned how to persevere and productively deal with adversity. She’s also developed a genuine passion for coaching and mentoring others, especially young girls. As a certified NLP practitioner, Lauren specializes in utilizing positive mindset strategies to empower and inspire individuals. Her mission is to help people navigate life’s challenges and realize their full potential by fostering growth and resilience.
This group of amazing young people have been with Coach Walker from the start of the program. They were formerly known as the Junior Mentor Committee, but have since earned their titles and positions as Mentors and Coaches. They lead Athletic Training Sessions, Girls Groups, Homework Huddles and EF Support Sessions and help chaperone social events and group outings. These individuals symbolize the possibilities of what the next generation can become with some mentoring, support and guidance.’
