We leverage a team approach featuring executive functioning coaching, confidence coaching, adversity mentoring, and life skills coaching to guide your teen toward success. Our programs incorporate personalized development plans for youth tailored to address your teen’s specific needs, whether it be ADHD or navigating social challenges.
These are 1-on-1 or small group sessions, working with Coach Walker on mentorship for adolescents and young adult coaching. We develop individualized plans up to four times a month for 60 minutes. The sessions are in-person and set up to be a comfortable place for the mentees to learn and grow as individuals. It is a safe space for them to be vulnerable and express what their challenges are without any judgment. From there, strategies are given, and confidence is built to take on their challenges through techniques like confidence coaching. While meetings are highly encouraged to be in-person, online appointments are available.
TEAMs are custom built small groups facilitated by Coach Walker. They include instruction, mentorship, peer accountability and social opportunities. Groups are small, usually 3-6 mentees, and they are scheduled with comfort levels and other commitments taken into account. Mentees are grouped with others who are at a similar stage in life and have similar interests, strengths, and areas to grow. These groups are like teammates for life!
We believe parental involvement is key to a teen’s success. Coach Walker works closely with parents to make sure plans stay on track and are focused on the most important needs of the mentees. He provides updates on the progress of the short and long-term goals for the mentees through parent consultation. Then, he receives input about the target areas for upcoming sessions.
